World Federation of United Nations Associations (WFUNA) is a global nonprofit organization representing and coordinating a membership of over 100 national United Nations Associations. Stislow Design was tasked with updating the identity system of WFUNA to cast it in a more youthful, modern and energetic light but maintain ties to the existing identity and UN emblem. We explored a typographic solution and settled on lower case acronym within an asymmetrical field; balanced the emblem and nestled it with the field; and spelled out the full name in U&lc below.
The stationery suite picks up the curve of the logo field with a rounded corner on key components.
Our work with WFUNA extends beyond the core organization but reaches into several advocacy and educational programs and affliates supporting themes of civil society and multilateral cooperation; peace and security; sustainable development; and human rights.
