What’s this? Paul Rand once said he only showed 1 design concept, maybe 1.5 to a client. He was the designer. He knew best. We typically suggest developing 2–3 concepts for presentation for a client to choose a direction. Well, the client knew better and engaged us to develop nearly 100 variations until they ultimately took it in-house and produced the final cover design based on one of our concepts.
